Another educator with an axe to grind. Or am I? After 24 years in the military I decided to jump ship to the world of education. I may not always follow the populist view or have the correct political leanings to be a “real” teacher but I’m finding my way, day by day, in the murky world of a primary school.

I hear that you’re leaving the world of teaching, at least for now. I wanted to thank you for your service to the nation’s young children and know that you will be sorely missed. I’m heartened by the fact that you’re going to do something that’s really important and close to your heart. I wish you all the best with it. I only hope for your sake that there are Party Rings there.
